Is Krauss's name actually supposed to be Klaus? They seem to have a lot of German sounding traditional names, except Beatrice, whose name is pronounced in a very Italian fashion, so I wonder. I like the idea of it being in the house, but assuming Krauss, Eva, Rudolf and Rosa grew up there, it would be fairly weird for them never to notice anything. I keep wondering how this hypotetical gold might be stored and how it was originally placed wherever it might be on the island.
